Giustino

The municipality of Giustino is located in the Val Rendena valley, in the Adamello Brenta Nature Park

Located at 776 m a.s.l., the municipality of Giustino, including the district of Vadaione, has about 740 inhabitants. Giustino is a typical mountain village, and for many years life in this place was dominated by the mining of sodium feldspar, which was used for the production of ceramics. Today, however, it is a holiday resort, ideal for both summer and winter holidays.

Most of the municipal territory of Giustino is located in the Adamello Brenta Nature Park, near Pinzolo, the peaks of the Brenta Group and the Val di Genova valley. There is a wide range of outdoor activities: hiking and mountain biking in summer, skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing in winter.

Also worth visiting is the parish church of Santa Lucia, dating back to the 13th century, with frescoes by Simone Baschenis and the precious wooden altar, a masterpiece by Stefano Lamberti. Also peculiar is the town hall of Giustino, which has its seat in the former valley station of the cable car that transported the minerals mined in the area; traces of it can still be seen today.
