The widely scattered municipal area of Borgo Lares, with 700 inhabitants in total, consists of the two districts of Bolbeno and Zuclo. The small municipality at the feet of the Adamello Brenta Nature Park is surrounded by a gorgeous natural landscape which offers a fantastic panoramic view until the “Busa di Tione”, a hollow at the feet of the Monte Gaggio mountain.
In summer there are plenty of possibilities to be active in nature: hikes, walks, mountain hikes and mountain bike tours are some of them, whereas in winter at Bolbeno there's a small skiing area.
