Guided walk on the Ciampedie plateau to follow the tracks of forest animals and discover who lives in King Laurin's forests.

Who has been here? A footprint on the ground, a gnawed pine cone, a feather in the grass, a broken branch: the forest leaves clues everywhere, you just have to learn how to look for them. On the Ciampedie plateau, in the heart of the Catinaccio (Rosengarten) and the legendary forests of King Laurin, you will set off to discover mountain animals: those that leap between branches, those that dig underground burrows, those that move silently at sunset, and those that leave light tracks along the path. Together with Andrea Vian, a mid-mountain guide, you will learn to recognise the footprints, habits, and fascinating facts about the forest dwellers, turning a simple walk into a game of nature observation.

Meeting point: every Sunday at 10:00 at the mountain station of the cable car. Duration: approx. 2 hours. Difficulty: easy. Children from 4 years. Path also suitable for trekking pushchairs. Dogs allowed.

Price: free activity organised by the Catinaccio Buffaure lift company, included in the Panorama Pass, the Dolomiti Supersummer pass, or the lift ticket. Booking is required online or at the valley's Fassa Sport offices by 18:00 on the previous day. Minimum 5, maximum 35 participants.

Appropriate clothing and footwear are required. Packed lunch or lunch at a local mountain hut at the participants' discretion. In case of bad weather, the activity will be cancelled.
