The Terza de Lui is much more than a village festival; it is a celebration that reflects the soul of Calavino and its deep roots in religious and community traditions. Every year, this event provides a special opportunity to meet and share, bringing together historical memory, local identity, and a shared desire to be together, involving the entire village in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Thanks to the joint efforts of the Alpini (Alpine association), the local brass band, volunteer firefighters, the parish council, and numerous volunteers, the Terza de Lui comes to life as a true community project where different generations work and gather together. The festival also welcomes visitors, providing a great opportunity to discover the area, its traditions, and the local food and wine specialties of Trentino in a friendly setting.

The event also features numerous workshops and educational activities designed for children and families, making the festival highly interactive and family-friendly. These include creative workshops to make crafts inspired by the history and symbols of the festival, such as drawings, decorations, and small traditional objects; art workshops featuring painting, colouring, and expressive activities linked to the Trentino region and its culture; traditional games to rediscover pastimes of the past and encourage outdoor activity and socialising; educational activities with stories and simple explanations about the history of the Terza de Lui and village traditions; and music workshops to introduce participants to music and instruments in collaboration with the local band. These activities help pass Calavino's cultural identity on to younger generations, further enriching the social and community value of the event.
