Pile Dwelling Museum

The history of early settlements on the shores of Lago di Ledro

The Pile Dwelling Museum of Lago di Ledro is actually a branch of the Natural Science Museum of Trento. Founded in 1972, it was designed to display the valuable findings of the near-by archaeological excavation site. A rich variety of every-day life items are exhibited, which introduce the visitors to the culture and economy of a community living along the shores of Lake Ledro some 4,000 years ago.

Adults and children alike can moreover look forward to archaeological workshops and special events in summertime.

Opening hours:
March - June and
September - November: 9 am - 5 pm
July - August: 10 am - 6 pm
December, January and February closed

Entrance fee: 4,50 Euro
Reduced entrance fee: 3,50 Euro
