Lake Canzolino is an idyllic bathing lake in nature

In the municipality of Pergine Valsugana lies Lake Canzolino, a 520-metres long and 125-metres wide lake. Despite not being widely known, the lake is a truly unique place in nature, surrounded by forests and hills with vineyards. In winter the surface ices over, turning the lake into a natural ice rink. Thanks to its depth ranging from 0.5 to 12 metres, it is very suitable for water sports like water skiing, scuba diving, windsurfing and canoeing. In its waters live several fish species, including chub, tench, carp, pike and perch which is why many passionate anglers come here to fish (a valid daily fishing licence is mandatory!).
The lakes of Serraia and delle Piazze in the north and the Caldonazzo and Levico lakes south of Lake Canzolino are easily accessible in a 15-minute drive. From here, you can undertake unforgettable hikes and MTB tours, e.g. to the small lakes of Pergine (piccoli laghi del Perginese).
