Suspension bridge Monte di Mezzocorona

The new Tibetan bridge is a must for all those who love adventure and adrenaline

The new suspension bridge on the Monte di Mezzocorona (approx. 900 metres a.s.l.), which was recently built, is a breathtaking experience. The structure is 123 metres long and is about 130 metres above the ground. The steel cable bridge crosses the Val della Villa valley and offers an impressive view on the entire area of the Piana Rotaliana.

Using the cable car, it is possible to climb the mountain in just 3 minutes (altitude difference: 620 metres). From the mountain station, you can then reach the bridge via a signposted path in about 20 minutes. Alternatively, you can reach the destination from the valley also on foot via the SAT 500 trail, a steep and challenging route that leads steadily uphill (medium difficulty).

Another attraction not to be missed on the Monte is the Skywalk, a viewing platform that was inaugurated in 2023. With a length of 17 metres, a glass floor was installed at the most exposed point, at a height of 648 metres!

Please note: Works to replace the existing cable car will start in October 2024, the opening of the new cable car is planned for spring 2025.
