The municipality of Tre Ville with its approx. 1400 inhabitants accrued due to the merging of the three municipalities of the Giudicarie Centrali: Ragoli, Preore and Montagne. From here the Val Rendena valley and the Valle del Chiese valley are easily accessible.
The several settlements of the municipality in historical terms are centralized in the “Comunità delle Regole di Spinale e Manez”, a rural community which still today decrees the grazing rights of the Regola di Manez and the Regola di Spinale (above Madonna di Campiglio).
Wood crafts, agriculture, forestry and transhumance always have been important for this area. During the last years the region has become popular also by guests not only because of its gorgeous landscape, located at the entrance of the Adamello-Brenta Nature Park.
