Ala celebrates music
The Banda Sociale di Ala APS is organising the third edition of 'Masterclasses in the Baroque Palaces'.
Following the success of previous years, the board of the Banda Sociale di Ala APS and its team of volunteers have expanded and updated the programme. As part of the summer event 'Symphonĭa 2026 – music for everyone!', two masterclasses will be held: one for brass with Professor Marina Boselli and the Gomalan Brass Quintet, and one for saxophone with Professors Isabella Fabbri and Francesco Geminiani.
The activity is aimed at instrumentalists and musicians looking to refine their skills, as well as established groups. Musicians can participate as either active students or observers. Lessons will take place across various historic palaces in Ala, spread throughout much of the old town.
The 2026 edition will kick off with an event specifically for young people, 'Symphonĭa Junior's Day', a day for connection and musical study ending with a grand concert.
