The municipality of San Lorenzo Dorsino is composed of the hamlets of San Lorenzo in Banale and Dorsino. It extends on a marvellous mountain terrain and offers an amazing view of the Giudicarie Esteriori and the Brenta-Dolomites. Here you can find everything your heart desires: art, culture, traditions, sports, nature and typical local dishes and wines. The village is therefore a perfect holiday destination all year round.
A local speciality is the Ciuìga del Banale, a sausage made of refined pork and white turnips of Trentino, is a true Slow Food delicacy and a symbol of this area. In November, San Lorenzo in Banale hosts the traditional Sagra della Ciuìga, a festival dedicated this unique sausage.
