A famous Italian singer-songwriter
Daniele Groff was born on the 7th June 1973 in Trento. He obtained his piano degree from the conservatory of Trento and completed his musical training with the professors of the Mozarteum in Salzburg and at the University of Miami.
After his studies, he gave up on a possible career as a classical pianist and decided to cultivate his passion for brit pop, enriching his classical training with this pop influence. This fusion of musical influences leads to the release of his first two songs. In 1998 Daniele Groff won "Sanremo Famosi", a music competition for young talents with his single 'Daisy', part of the album 'Variatio 22', which also contains three other hit singles: 'Io sono Io', 'Lamerica', 'Adesso' and 'Everyday'.
In 2001 Daniele Groff released his second studio album, called 'Bit' with the three singles 'If You Don't Like It', 'Anna Julia' and 'Lory'. His last album, 'Mi Accordo' was released in 2004 and contains a total of ten songs, four of which were in English. His last single was published in 2016 and contributed, together with the singles released until that year, to his success.
On the 8th February 2025, Groff announced in an interview that he is currently working on a new album.
