In mid-November the streets of Trento are decorated with Christmas lights and in two historic squares of the city centre (Piazza Fiera and Piazza Cesare Battisti) the traditional wooden huts are set up. It is time for Trento's famous Christmas market which attracts visitors with its authentic scents and local products.
Stroll between the numerous stalls and enjoy the wide range of local artisanal products, ideas for presents, Christmas decorations and much more. Taste typical local dishes and enjoy the rich event programme that has earned Trento its nickname "Città del Natale" (city of Christmas).
The Christmas Market of Trento however does not only offer artisanal and traditional Christmas products. In fact, it is also an "eco-friendly market" where particular attention is dedicated to environmental sustainability. The event showcases locally sourced food and uses only paper bags certified by Dolomiti Energia, a provider of 100% clean energy.
