From November to January Christmas time captivates also the heart of Pergine Valsugana. In the alleys of the historic centre you can admire the traditional wooden huts of the local Christmas market
According to legends during Advent time Pergine was visited by dwarfs, elves and fairies who sold Christmas decorations, sweets and toys. The symbol and mascot of the Christmas market of Pergine is in fact a tiny dwarf also known as "Canopo".
The beautifully decorated stalls of the Christmas market with their Christmas lights and decorations as well as the delicious local products, handicrafts and ideas for presents immerse the historic centre of Pergine in a wonderful Christmas atmosphere. Of course the wooden stalls are not the only attraction of this market. In fact, it is enriched with a comprehensive programme of theatres, exhibitions and creative activities for children, 'krampus' parades, music and concerts. Have great fun with your loved ones!
