A wonderful excursion in the area of Madonna di Campiglio is the hike to Malga Vigo. This easy hike is suitable for families both in summer and winter and delights hikers with fascinating views of the Brenta Dolomites and the typical alpine landscape of the area. At Malga Vigo you can enjoy delicious local dishes and relax on the deck chairs in the extensive sunny meadow.
We start our hike at the car park of Passo Campo Carlo Magno (parcheggio di Passo Campo Carlo Magno) from where we descend alongside the state road towards Dimaro - Val di Sole. Then we take the forest road to the left towards Malga Vigo. After a break at the malga we proceed downhill along the ski slope and then branch off to the left, following the markers of path no. 201 to Passo Campo Carlo Magno. Please note: the return path does not coincide with the path we took to Malga Vigo. Path no. 201 runs only a few metres above the forest road.
