Lisignago is situated in the lower Val di Cembra at an altitude of 582 m a.s.l. between the villages of Cembra and Ceola. The surrounding landscape is characterised by terraces with vineyards. This area is indeed famous for the production of refined wines including Schiava, Nosiola and Müller Thurgau. The centre of Lisignago is firmly anchored in tradition. The St. Biagio church with its bell tower and the St. Leonhard church are worth visiting. The latter underwent several renovation works and has a wonderful Gothic portal, as well as a small bell tower with one of the oldest bells of the entire valley. The church houses an interesting fresco cycle dating back to the second half of the 15th century.
Lisignago is also an ideal starting point for hikes or bike tours to Lago Santo or to the Rifugio della Maderlina.
