Dorsino lies on a morainic terrace formed by the Sarca stream at the entrance to the Val d'Ambiez and the Adamello-Brenta Nature Park.
The most interesting attractions include the S. Giorgio church which houses some frescoes by C. Baschenis and the ancient Assunta church in the nearby village of Tavodo.
As vinegrowing is becoming increasingly essential for the local economy, Dorsino is definitely a must for Trentino wine lovers. Besides renowned local wines, many people are looking forward to trying the ciuìga, a typical cured meat made with pork and boiled turnips - a true delicacy of the Trentino cuisine!
