The village of Vigo Rendena at 612 m a.s.l. extends between the eastern slopes of the Corno Basso and the valley floor. The origins of this locality date back to the 4th century, to the time of the Gauls.
A stone's throw from the extensive Madonna di Campiglio skiing area, Vigo is an ideal starting point for ski days on the slopes in winter and mountain hikes in summer.
San Lorenzo, the patron saint of Vigo Rendena, is celebrated on 10th August.
