The village of Vigo Rendena at 612 m a.s.l. extends both on the eastern slopes of the Corno Basso and the valley floor. The origins of this locality date back to the 4th century, the times of the Gauls.
Thanks to its proximity to the extensive Madonna di Campiglio skiing area, Vigo is an ideal starting point for ski days on the slopes in winter and mountain hikes in summer.
San Lorenzo, the patron saint of Vigo Rendena, is celebrated every year on 10 August.
