The village of Montagne in the municipality of Tre Ville has about 230 inhabitants and is subdivided into three small settlements: Larzana (approximately 1,000 m a.s.l. and former municipal seat), Cort and Binio.
Binio is situated at the entrance to the wonderful Val di Manez in the Adamello-Brenta Nature Park (closed to traffic from the locality of Colonia onwards). This unspoilt alpine valley is ideal for unforgettable hikes and trekking tours to the malghe and to the adjacent Val d'Algone. A highly sought-after hike starts at Passo Daone and leads up to Cima Durmont (1,835 m a.s.l.) from where you can enjoy stunning panoramic views.
Montagne belongs to the millennial consortium Comunità delle Regole di Spinale e Manez dating back to 1377 which still manages meadows, forests and immovables in the area and whose earnings are given to social projects.
