Description
International canoeing returns to the waters of Val di Sole, specifically the Noce River. The respected magazine National Geographic has ranked it as one of the top ten rivers in the world and the best in Europe for river sports, especially rafting and canoeing.
From 25 to 28 June, the Mezzana river stadium will host two major international events: the Wildwater Canoeing World Cup and the Rafting World Cup. Over four days of competition, top international athletes will test their skills in various white-water disciplines, including downhill, slalom and rodeo.
In recent decades, Olympic champions and world-class competitors have performed in the rapids of Val di Sole. Following last year’s European Championships, the prestigious Wildwater Canoeing World Cup returns to Mezzana after a two-year absence.
