On 24 May 2026, a spectacular event returns to the Ledro Valley: the Ledro Sky Trentino, once again confirmed as a stage of the Golden Trail World Series, the circuit that celebrates the elite of international trail running.
The world's best trail runners and amateurs will compete on a route that follows the historic course of the Ledro Sky, a technical and challenging race deeply rooted in the local area, featuring 21 km and 1,700 metres of positive elevation gain of pure adrenaline.
The trail climbs high up and then follows the panoramic ridges of the Ledro mountains – the famous 'greste' – in a continuous series of climbs and descents between Cima Parì, Cima Sclapa and Cima d’Oro. These peaks are part of the Pichea-Rocchetta ridge, an area of natural interest within the Ledro Alps Reserves Network, also recognised by the UNESCO MAB programme for its high environmental value.
Along the route, runners pass through and alongside First World War trenches and ruins, including the Pernici mountain hut (Rifugio Pernici), which was built during that period and stands as a living memory in a landscape that unites sport, nature and history.
It is a route suspended between the sky and memory, where sport meets the true beauty of Garda Trentino.
