Rovereto is deeply attached to its roots and culture and has given life to several cultural institutions and various projects focusing on humans and the world's different cultures. The symbol of this mission is the Maria Dolens Bell which is made of the bronze from the cannons of World War 1. Every evening it rings 100 times in a row in memory of the fallen soldiers of every war as a sign of brotherhood between the peoples. These are also the central themes of Rovereto's Christmas market which is an immersive journey in the alleys of the city's historic centre embellished by music, crib exhibitions and a magical atmosphere.
From November to early January the traditional stalls of the Christmas market of Rovereto await you with their typical local handicrafts, clothes and cuisine. As you stroll across the most beautiful squares of the city you will discover the historic centre with its 17th century noble residences, medieval strongholds and interesting museums in all its facets.
