Play in a stunning alpine landscape

The Val di Fassa features both traditional playgrounds with swings and slides and playgrounds with fascinating games. In this article we describe the most beautiful playgrounds of the Val di Fassa.

Playground in Moena

This playground at the entrance of the village of Moena was built on three levels and is suitable for children of different ages. The three theme areas are connected via stairways and the highest part is dedicated to children aged 1 to 4.

The mostly wooden games include stairs with nets leading to a wide slide, a merry-go-round, a see-saws, swings and even a wooden xylophone.

Lusialand

The play area Lusialand is composed of easy walking paths, swings, slides, see-saws, castles, tepees, tunnels, Tibetan bridges, a climbing wall, a sandpit, a cableway, an agility route, a slackline, an alpine minigolf court and the Game of the Goose.

Children who love animals should not miss the hens, donkeys, sheep and goats living in the small educational farm.

Fassa Park Canazei

This playground was set up near a small lake in the vicinity of the village centre. It includes swings, trampolines, see-saws, slides, bouncy castles, a climbing pyramid, a go-kart track and a football pitch. Furthermore, you can also play table tennis and table football. The area is also complete with a fitness trail, gazebos and a recreational area.

Ciampark

The Ciampark at 2,500 m a.s.l. is the highest playground of the Val di Fassa. It comprises an water playf area, slides, swings, cableways, castles, wooden huts, climbing walls and a balance route with obstacles. The dragon of Ciampac, a dragon-shaped wooden boardwalk, is a highlight for children.

On the meadows of Ciampac thrive rare flower and plant species.

Canazei Fun Park

The Canazei Fun Park in front of the Dòlaondes swimming pool is complete with a huge car park from where you can enjoy stunning views of Pordoi, Sella and the Gran Vernel.

This park features a 50-m long tubing piste which is accessible via a conveyor belt. Inflatable tubing boats can be rented on site. The 400-m long slalomkart track can be easily reached with a skilift. Fun activities like aquatic bumper cars on inflatable rubber boats are offered in summer. The playground is also complete with a kiosk, tables, beach umbrellas, picnic gazebos, bouncy castles, slides, coloured cars and coin-operated games.

Fiabilandia

The playground "Fiabilandia" in the hamlet of Prato di Sorte features several games, including: a train, swings, slides, tunnels, see-saws, huts, mini-car and mini-bike tracks, a pump track for mountain bikes and rollerblades, a balance course with obstacles and climbing walls. Toilets are available.

Kinderpark Ciampedie Vigo

The Kinderpark Ciampedie Vigo is situated on one of the most stunning panoramic terraces of the Val di Fassa and is run by the ski school of Vigo Passo Costalunga. The fenced, sun-drenched area is composed of castles, huts, tunnels, see-saws, springer toys, slides, swings, inflatable toys, cable slides, trampolines, a merry-go-round, an ability course and a Flyline for those who like to fly among the trees.

Centro giochi Pollicino

The Centro giochi Pollicino in Pozza di Fassa is the only indoor playground of the valley. The structure is equipped with huts, mattresses, dolls, trains, soft toys, wooden balance bikes, small kitchens and games suitable for children of every age, as well as a fully-equipped private garden. The facility also provides a crèche for children aged 2 months to 4 years. Paid entrance, reservation is mandatory.
