The '100 km dei Forti', (literally "100 km of fortresses") is a well-marked and internationally renowned MTB route. This unique cycle track takes you through varied landscapes, including pastures, mountain passes, meadows and forests, mainly on unpaved paths. The track features uphill and downhill sections along the former road network of World War 1. You will cycle past impressive fortresses and ruins, such as Forte Belvedere and Forte Busa, both of which are definitely worth visiting. Here, you can imagine the immense efforts the soldiers made while crossing Trentino.
The “100 km dei Forti” cycling track is divided into three stages, each of which can also be ridden as a separate tour: 52.5 km on the Folgaria high pleateau (leading to Passo Somma), 23.95 km on the Lavarone plateau (across Parco Palù), and 26.48 km around Luserna.
