Today we undertake a snowshoe hike on the Predaia high plateau. From the Rifugio “ai Todesci” hut at 1.396 m a.s.l. we walk to Malga Rodeza or di Tres at 1,570 m a.s.l

This easy but still beautiful snowshoe hike along the road to Malga Rodeza is also suitable for families. It runs along the right side of the wonderful Predaia high plateau at the border to the Val Rodeza. Although it is considered an easy excursion, it could be difficult not to lose yourself in the forest in case of heavy snowfall.
The starting point of this snowshoe hike is Rifugio Predaia. Once we have walked past the mountain hut, we take the forest road towards east which proceeds through the forest. Having left the forest behind us we arrive at a crossroads in the village of Busa da Spin (signpost - 1,496 m a.s.l.) where we continue walking. The itinerary then enters the forest again and ascends to Malga Rodeza (or di Tres) at 1,570 m a.s.l. Proceeding eastwards you can easily reach a panoramic viewpoint with fantastic views of the valle dell'Adige and the Dolomites.
We retrace our steps to return to the starting point.
