The Autonomous Province of Trento, the southern part of the region of Trentino-Alto Adige, borders South Tyrol to the north, Veneto to the east and south, and Lombardy to the west
Coming from the north:
The Province of Trento can be reached easily and quickly via the Brennero Pass, either on the Brennero Motorway or on the state road leading past Vipiteno and Bolzano.
Coming from the east and west:
From the east and west, the Province of Trento can be reached directly via the A4 motorway Milano-Venezia (Milan-Venice).
Coming from the south:
Trentino is also easily accessible from the south via the A22 motorway (Brennero-Modena): The exits of the A22 lead to the state roads that take you to the valleys, towns and villages of the province. The roads are well constructed, maintained and signposted.
Exits from the A22:
- Rovereto Sud - Lago di Garda: connects Vallagarina and Brentonico, Garda Trentino and Valle di Ledro, Valli Giudicarie and Terme di Comano to Rovereto
- Rovereto Nord: leads to Rovereto and Vallagarina, Folgaria Lavarone Luserna
- Trento Sud: Valli Giudicarie and Terme di Comano, Campiglio and Pinzolo, Trento, Valsugana, Pinè and Valle di Cembra, access to San Martino di Castrozza from SS 47 (Valsugana)
- Trento Nord: connection to the Trento-Rocchetta bypass leading to Andalo and Paganella, Val di Sole and Val di Non
- San Michele - Mezzocorona: Andalo and Paganella, Pinè and Valle di Cembra, Val di Sole and Val di Non
- Egna - Ora: Val di Fiemme, Val di Fassa, San Martino di Castrozza
