Torbole

Torbole, a well-known windsurfing and sailing destination, is situated between Lake Garda, Monte Baldo and the Piana del Sarca

Torbole, a historic village with houses facing Lake Garda entices visitors with its unique beauty. The most impressive part of the village still preserves the typical appearance of a village inhabited by fishermen and woodworkers in former times. We highly recommend a walk through the wonderful historic centre where you can admire beautifully decorated angles and alleys, including a small harbour with the typical buildings of the Vecchia Dogana from the 15th century, the central square and the small casetta del Dazio. During his Italian Journey from 1786 to 1788, Goethe fell in love with Torbole.

Thanks to the wind and the navigation ban for motorboats, Torbole has become a world-famous destination for sailors, windsurfers, hikers, climbers and mountain bikers. One of the most fascinating hikes in this area starts from the small valley valletta di Santa Lucia and leads towards Nago to a spot at the foot of the cliff of Penede.
