Torbole

Torbole, a well-known windsurfing and sailing destination, is situated between Lake Garda, Monte Baldo and the Piana del Sarca

Torbole, a historic village with houses facing Lake Garda entices visitors with its unique beauty. In the most impressive part of this hamlet the original architecture vouching for its past when it was inhabited mainly by fishermen and woodworkers is still visible. Don't miss a walk through its stunning historic centre and admire its unique angles and alleys, including the small harbour with the characteristic buildings of the Vecchia Dogana (15th century), Casa Beust, the main square and the small Casetta del Dazio. Even Goethe was amazed by this hamlet during his Italian Journey between 1786 and 1788.

Thanks to its ideal wind conditions and traffic ban for motorboats, Torbole has become an internationally renowned surfing and sailing centre and a true paradise for water sports lovers. Also hikers, Climbers and mountain bikers can benefit from a wide range of possibilities. Furthermore, Torbole provides some of the most beautiful walking paths of the area, such as the itinerary leading from the valletta di Santa Lucia towards Nago and to the foot of Penede.
