Darè

The village of Darè at 600 m a.s.l. in the Adamello-Brenta Nature Park at the entrance to the Val San Valentino is home to approximately 600 inhabitants. The most ancient part of the village reveals traces of its architectural past with stone houses with wooden shingle roofs and majestic portals decorated with beautiful coats of arms and wooden superstructures. The S. Rocco chapel built in 1579 and the Casa Cüs, which houses the exhibition "Casa Cose Cüs: oggetti di un tempo e cose in esposizione" should not be missed.

An extensive network of hiking paths leads through the Brenta group and to the Adamello-Presanella glaciers at 3,500 m a.s.l. Madonna di Campiglio with the Madonna di Campiglio skiing area is only a short distance from Darè. This skiing area features ski slopes in winter and numerous hiking paths in summer. In the surroundings of Darè you can practise recreational fishing or undertake mountain bike tours and try paragliding or hang-gliding.
