Ragoli is the administrative centre of the municipality of Tre Ville, as well as the seat of the historic "Comunità delle Regole di Spinale e Manez", a consortium of mountain municipalities which regulates the forestry and pastoral activities in the two eponymous areas.
Ragoli is home to about 850 inhabitants living in different settlements and lies on the orographic left of the Sarca river at the foot of Monte Irone at the entrance of the Val d'Algone. The village is a stone's throw from Tione di Trento and overlooks the strada statale 237 del Caffaro.
Among the most interesting cultural and artistic attractions of Ragoli are the parish church dedicated to the patron saint San Faustino, the medieval cemetery chapel of the Saints Faustino and Giovita which had been the main religious centre of the current municipality for centuries, and last but not least the 18th-century S. Stefano church in the hamlet of Cerana.
