Try Milking

Do you want to experience milking cows? Come to Pera farm, just a short walk from the village!

When the cows go "moo!"… something special happens! At the Agritur Agua Biencia farm stay in Pera, you will have an authentic experience with the owners, Claudia and Silvano. You can watch – and even try your hand at! – milking their Grey Alpine cows. From the fresh milk, soft and aged cheeses, butter, cream, and the original Alp-yogurt are made. These genuine products can be purchased and enjoyed at home too.

The activity is free, but booking is mandatory ONLY via WhatsApp. It is open to children aged 3 and up, and takes place from Tuesday to Friday. After milking, you can explore the small zoo independently, featuring chickens, rabbits, goats, and other farm animals. And if you think driving a tractor is easy… test your skills on the new agricultural go-kart track!

How to get there
It's very easy! You can reach the farm stay by car, bike, or on foot along the pleasant riverside walk that runs beside the Avisio stream from Pozza to Pera. Before or after the activity, treat yourself to a genuine snack at the farm stay's shop or book a traditional dinner to end the day… with flavour.
