Description
A mountain running race, from Pozza to Buffaure, valid as a stage of the "VK Fiemme Fassa Biois" circuit.
On Sunday 21 September, the INOUT Social Cooperative, in collaboration with Funivie Buffaure s.p.A. and the Municipality of San Giovanni, is organising the "Vertical Buffaure". This mountain running race goes from the main square of Pozza to the Buffaure cable car arrival station. It is a stage of the "VK Fiemme Fassa Biois" circuit. The ascent is 750 m; the length is 3.4 km.
Vertical Buffaure programme:
- 08:00 - Bib number distribution and last-minute registrations
- 10:00 - Mass start from Pozza's main square (Piaza de Comun)
- 11:00 - Children's race start (8-15 years) from the Buffaure plateau (150 m ascent; 800 m length)
- 12:00 - Pasta party and celebration at Rifugio Buffaure
- 14:00 - Awards ceremony
Entry fee: €20; €25 on the day at the start area; €12 for under 18s (born in 2007 or later). A meal voucher and return cable car ticket are included.
