The third edition of this recently created format of the Cycling World Championships is going to take place in Trentino in 2032
Eight years after Glasgow 2023 a new edition of the Super Cycling World Championships, a World Championship including almost all cycling disciplines, will be held in Trentino. The International Cycling Union (UCI) assigned 13 World Championships to 10 different countries until 2032 and Trentino has the honour of organising some of the races.
The exact places and race dates are unknown. Road cycling races are expected to be held in the surroundings of the city of Trento, whereas the Val di Sole is probably the venue for the mountain bike races.
However, this is not the first time that Trentino is given a place on the world stage as a host region: in fact, some competitions of the 2026 Olympic Winter Games and of the Youth Olympic Games 2028 will take place in Trentino. The Super Cycling World Championships, however, will definitely be the greatest sports highlight of the 2031 season after the 2030 Mountain Bike Marathon World Championships in the Val Gardena and before the Olympic Games of Brisbane in 2032.
