The most interesting architectural gems of Pieve di Ledro are undoubtedly the Annunciation church from 1235 and the ancient town hall housing the small Oratorio di San Giuseppe on the main road. To enter the building you need to walk through a 17th century decorated portal made of white stone. The oratory still boasts the original door of 1633.
In Pieve di Ledro you can visit a small pharmacy museum. The ancient Foletto pharmacy was built in the 17th century and is famous for being the first of its kind in the entire valley. Today the building displays tools and machines used in the laboratory. The sentiero di Pur, which is still accessible, served as a connection road between Pieve and Molina and is an ideal starting point for mountain bike tours and hikes in the mountains.
The village of Pieve offers stunning views of Lake Ledro. The hamlet of Mezzolago is in fact also known as "perla del lago" (pearl of the lake) thanks to its sunny and protected position amidst verdant meadows and the light blue lake. A monument we recommend visiting is the St. Michael church. Pieve di Ledro is therefore a perfect holiday destination for both active and relaxing holidays at the lakeshore!
