Situated on a verdant high plateau at 831 m a.s.l. in the heart of the Val di Non, the village of Coredo is home to about 1,500 inhabitants. The forests, the clean air, the mild climate and the wonderful landscapes make of Coredo a perfect holiday destination.
Its popularity as a tourist destination is testified by some Liberty-style residences from the early 20th century. The beautiful historic centre is organised around the square where the Neorenaissance Santa Maria Assunta church was built between 1943 and 1948. Don't miss "Casa Marta" in Venetian style from the 16th century and the small Madonna Addolorata church with its precious Baroque altar.
Coredo is an ideal starting point for easy walks to the artificial lakes Coredo and Tavon, to the pilgrimage site San Romedio and the ancient Venetian sawmill with the "Museo del Legno" (Museum of Wood). Children can have fun on the meadows of the "Predaia Park" in Predaia, an adventure park tailored to children. The slopes of the small Predaia - Monte Nock - Monte Roen skiing area are only a stone's throw away from the village.
