Dimaro is situated in the Val di Sole at the foot the Brenta Dolomites at the entrance to the Val di Meledrio between Folgarida and Madonna di Campiglio

The village of Dimaro at 766 m a.s.l. on a sunny high plateau near the Noce stream is immersed in the stunning natural landscape of the Adamello-Brenta Nature Park and offers numerous leisure activities.

In winter you can have fun on the best-prepared ski slopes of the Folgarida-Marilleva skiing area, measuring a total length of 60 km. The Val di Sole also features 45 km of cross-country ski tracks running across a fabulous winter landscape. Dimaro has much to offer also in summer when you can undertake mountain bike tours or alpine hikes and live unforgettable rafting adventures on the Noce stream.

This village has many historic buildings including the 14th century San Lorenzo church which hosts frescoes of the brothers Giovanni and Battista Baschenis and altars of Giovanni Battista Ramus. The Palazzo del Dazio with its numerous stone fountains is another monument you shouldn't miss. In the nearby village of Carciato you can visit the San Giovanni Battista church dating back to 1751.
