Dolomiti di Brenta Bike Stage 1: Dimaro - Monte Peller - Cles

This first stage takes us from the Val di Sole to the Val di Non, across the alpine pastures near the 2,320-m high Monte Peller and the Rif. Peller hut at 1,990 m a.s.l

In the district of Carciato near Dimaro Folgarida we follow the signs of the Dolomiti Brenta Bike Route “Expert” towards Rif. Peller. An easy, hilly forest path on the southern side of the Val di Sole leads us towards Malé and Terzolas. Here, the forest road starts to ascend towards Rif. Peller. As we climb higher, we enjoy beautiful panoramic views of the valley.

About 4 km before reaching Rifugio Peller, we need to manage a steep section where we recommend wheeling your bike. At the Malga Clesera hut, the forest path continues to ascend to Rif. Peller. Here, we enjoy our deserved lunch and an impressive view of the natural scenery surrounding Mt Peller. The downhill ride to Cles helps us recover from our efforts.

First, we ride across alpine meadows and then along a road on the slope, enjoying fantastic views of the Val di Non, Lago di Santa Giustina, and the orchards of Cles.
