Roman coins and tombs testify the antiquity of the small village of Castel Condino in the Valle delle Chiese. The village is an ideal starting point for hikes to the malghe in its surroundings or up to Mt. Merlino, Mt. Cima Marrese and to the altopiano di Boniprati.
The neoclassical St. Giorgio church was built in 1864 on the site of an ancient Romanesque church of the 13th century and is definitely worth visiting. Another church you shouldn't miss is the church of the Madonna Addolorata, which is referred to as "Chiesetta dei Morti" (little church of the Dead) by the locals.
