Borgo Chiese

Borgo Chiese is a widely scattered municipality with approx. 2,000 inhabitants in the Valle del Chiese valley. It consists of three districts, Brione, Cimego and Condino

Located at an altitude between 444 and 900 m asl. the municipality of Borgo Chiese is a popular destination for nature, culture and art lovers.

In the picturesque and history-charged districts there are numerous places and buildings which are worth a visit. Among them the Church of St. Anthony from the 16th century, the Church of the Assumption of Mary, the Palazzo della Torre, the Casa Marascalchi Museum and a walk along the interesting ethnographic nature trail “Rio Caino”.

In summer numerous hiking paths invite to discover the surrounding alpine world, e.g. to the Boniprati Plateau, to the alpine pastures in the Valle Aperta valley or to the Brealone and Cima Bruffione mountains. In winter best prepared pistes and cross country ski tracks wait for you.
