Lago di Valagola is an ideal destination for those who would like to spend a relaxing day in nature. Our starting point is the car park at the entrance of the eponymous valley in the Brenta Dolomites between the Doss di Sabion, Cima Nardis and Cima Fracinglo. The ascent along the wide forest path can be completed in 90 minutes. The car parks are easily accessible from the hamlet of Sant'Antonio di Mavignola by following the signposts "Val Brenta" and "Valagola".
The slightly uphill path through the forest of Cantin leads to malga Valagola and then continues to the eponymous lake. The circular route around the lake offers stunning panoramic views of the Brenta Dolomites in the background. The colours of its crystal clear water range from light blue to different shades of green depending on the angle of the sun.
