The village of Nago is located north of Torbole, at the foot of Castel Penede facing Lake Garda, one of Italy's most stunning lakes which strikes visitors with enchanting views and its Mediterranean vegetation.
Embedded in a huge park in a panoramic position, the ruins of Castel Penede in Nago were an important symbol of power from the Middle Ages to the early 18th century. After having been secured, the ruins of the fortress can now be visited by taking the hiking path from the centre of Nago or from the Forte Alto.
The Marmitte dei Giganti are accessible from the panoramic road between Nago and Torbole and the Forte di Nago, an Austro-Hungarian fortress built in 1861 are two spots you shouldn't miss.
Nago amazes you with an exceptional panoramic view of Lake Garda!
