This popular mountain village and holiday destination is situated in the Alta Val Rendena valley at the entrance of the Val Genova valley, at the foot of Cima Lancia (2,318 m a.s.l.)

Carisolo is situated in a sunny location and is perfect for those who seek for relaxation and love nature. This is also a place for those who would like to spend active holidays.

The village offers numerous sports facilities that allow you to practice your favourite sport at any time of year, from winter sports in the nearby ski resorts Pinzolo and Madonna di Campiglio to tennis, football, sport fishing and mountain biking.

The Adamello-Brenta Nature Park, however, is perfect for extended walks. The beautiful Val di Genova valley with its famous Nardis waterfalls is mostly located in the municipal area. Also from a cultural point of view Carisolo has got much to offer, for instance the San Nicolò parish church and the small but fascinating church Santo Stefano, mentioned already in the 13th century and rebuilt in the 16th century. Remarkable are also the frescoes representing the life of different saints illustrated on the local buildings.
