The small municipality of Cimone is situated on the slopes of Monte Bondone, between the cities of Trento and Rovereto. Its several original farms at the foot of Monte Bondone now form the municipality's hamlets.
The fresh climate in summer and the mild temperatures in winter make Cimone an ideal and relaxing holiday destination all year round. This area offers a large variety of hikes and walks in the warm season and snowshoe tours in winter.
Starting from the valley floor you can conquer the high peaks of Monte Bondone by passing Monte Cornetto. The area around Cimone is rich in flowers: the edelweiss and the alpine rose thrive particularly well here.
