Cimone

The antique village of Cimone, dating back to 1200 AD, has preserved its unique structure

On the slopes of Monte Bondone, between Trento and Rovereto, there is the little village of Cimone. In the beginning this area was mainly characterised by a large number of farms at the foot of Monte Bondone, out of which in the course of time the component localities of Cimone developed.

The fresh climate in summer and the mild climate in winter make this village an ideal holiday resort the whole year round, particularly for those who seek relaxation! The surroundings offer numerous possibilities for hiking and promenading in summer as well as trails for snowshoeing in winter.

From the bottom of the valley you can scale the high peaks of Monte Monte Bondone via Monte Cornetto. Moreover Cimone is famous for its plant diversity, including the edelweiss and the alpine rose.
