A paradise for hiking in summer and skiing in winter, Monte Bondone is situated in the Valle dell'Adige west of Trento at an altitude of above 2,000 m a.s.l. The villages of Candriai, Vaneze, Norge, Vason and Viote form a wonderful natural terrace from where you can enjoy a great view of Trentino's mountains, from the Brenta Dolomites to the Adamello glacier.
As a popular hiking destination in summer and ski area in winter (Ski Area Bondone Trento), it is served by means of public transport and skibuses. The hot summer days invite you to explore this area on its extensive network of hiking and trekking paths, mountainbike routes, vie ferrate and much more. With the first snowfalls in the mountains you can either opt for wonderful days on the numerous ski slopes, the 35 km long cross-country ski tracks of the Monte Bondone cross-country ski centre, snowshoe tours or relaxing strolls in the winter landscape.
