The enchanting village in the heart of the Val di Fiemme right at the foot of the majestic Lagorai chain, flanks the Avisio river at the point where the valley curves towards north-east. Ziano di Fiemme includes the hamlets of Zanon, Roda, Bosin and Zanolin. The village is surrounded by wide, mainly flat and verdant meadows, as well as wonderful fir woods bordering the residential area.
Sports lovers will enjoy the numerous summer and winter hiking itineraries in the mountains. In winter, this area is a famous winter sports destination. In fact, ski lifts to the Latemar and the Alpe Cermis skiing areas in the immediate vicinity of Ziano di Fiemme are accessible by skibus from Ziano. A cross-country ski track is available nearby the village.
