Panchià

The village’s agricultural past and its present tourism and craftsmanship, lead to its economic wellbeing

Panchià is situated in the heart of the valley, precisely between Tesero and Ziano di Fiemme in a magnificent panoramic position at the foot of Monte Agnello and the Cornon, right in front of the Lagorai mountain chain.

It extends on both the riverbanks of the Rio Bianco. The historically important parish church of San Valentino in the centre of the village was built in 1190. The wooden bridge of Panchià with a double-layered roofing is also typical of this locality.

Along Via dell'Ancona on the left bank of Rio Bianco, stands a frescoed Gothic chapel, known as the "Capitèl dei Nastasi".
