The municipality of Castello-Molina di Fiemme is situated at an altitude of approximately 1,000 m a.s.l. and counts around 2,300 inhabitants. This extended area includes the villages of Castello di Fiemme, Molina di Fiemme, Predaia and Stramentizzo and is immersed in a wonderful alpine landscape in the lower Val di Fiemme. The village of Castello di Fiemme, an ancient hamlet where you can admire the typical architecture of this valley, is the administrative centre of the municipality.
Both in summer and in winter you can choose between a broad range of activities, including skiing, snowboarding, sleighing or romantic strolls in the snow. In summer, you are spoilt for choice, as this area features wonderful hiking itineraries and mountain bike tours, as well as the cycle path of the Val di Fiemme, which is directly accessible from here. The nearby village of Cavalese offers numerous shops, a public swimming pool and an ice rink where you can practise ice skating even in summer.
