Valdaone is a municipality with 1,140 inhabitants at an altitude of 767 m a.s.l. It is composed of the hamlets of Bersone, Daone and Praso. Valdaone owes its name to the beautiful, neighbouring Valle di Daone which extends to the Adamello massif on a length of about 30 km.
Valdaone is an ideal destination for sports lovers which hosts a stage of the Speed Climbing World Cup every year. The marvellous natural landscape of this area is characterised by stunning waterfalls, a rich fauna and flora and numerous lakes and malghe waiting to be discovered!
