Pieve Tesino

Pieve Tesino, classified as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, is situated at 843 m a.s.l. at the foot of Mt. Silana and is a popular holiday destination in winter and summer

The name of “Pieve” derives from the fact that the village has been the seat of the parish church of the valley for a long period of time. In the village there is also the De Gasperi Museum, which illustrates the life of De Gasperi as well as its strong commitment to this area of Trentino. Other sights include the San Sebastiano and Assunta Church.

The landscape around Pieve Tesino is perfectly suitable for extended walks. In the north of the village there is for example Cima d’Asta, which represents a popular destination for alpinists. Another hiking path leads you throughout the forest for about one hour, until reaching a beautiful botanic garden, which is worth to be visited. Those who love to play golf will enjoy their favourite sport on the 9 hole Tesino Golf Club, perfectly embedded in the landscape.
