Telve is located in the eastern part of the Valsugana valley at the foot of the Monte Salubio.
Telve is located in sunny and panoramic position, its historic centre is made up of so-called “cormèi“, which are districts with a particular structure. The buildings in the village are built one next to the other and were constructed round an open space, which is a sort of courtyard. Also historic farms that are widely-spread and often located in remote position, are part of the scenery in the environs of Telve.
The area round Telve mainly consists of forests, high alpine pastures and mountains. Moreover there are two particular natural jewels: on the one hand the Musiera high plateau including a little lake for fishing as well as the only WWF territory of the alpine area, called Oasi di Valtrigona, on the other hand the Val Calamento, which is characterised by its unspoilt nature. From this point you can also reach the Passo Manghen connecting the Valsugana with the Val di Fiemme via Monte Lagorai. This itinerary is particularly popular with mountain bikers. Worth to be visited in Telve is the Assunta church as well as the Santa Giustina church, both lushly decorated.
